Valaura's Bio
Praised as a “Power vocalist” Valaura Arnold is accomplished in diverse genres including Jazz, Big Band, Broadway, Opera, Christian Worship, Country, and Pop.
As a favored soloist with big bands, symphony orchestras, and choirs she is known for her ability to connect and create emotional impact with the audience.
Internationally Valaura has graced stages in Central America on a tour featuring her Christmas CD and recently performed the role of Mary Magdalene in a European tour of Lamb of God.
She is the lead vocalist for the City Jazz Band and the Riverton Jazz Band and was a member of the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra on Temple Square for 8 years.
She is a much sought after studio musician and has released 2 critically acclaimed CD’s, one of which features duets with Graham Russell of Air Supply, John Elefante of Kansas, and violinist Jenny Oaks Baker.
Valaura holds both Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah and has been teaching aspiring vocalists for 30 years.

Additional Performance Opportunities
Regular performances are a powerful way to enhance your music memorization skills and bolster your confidence as you step onto the stage. Additionally, the studio will have outstanding opportunities to perform at retirement homes and festivals, allowing you to spread joy while sharing your passion. Participation in these events is entirely optional, and there will be no extra fees associated with these transformative experiences. So, step forward, embrace your talents, and let your music resonate with conviction!
Tuition
The monthly tuition is set at $195. This fee includes either four half-hour lessons or a combination of three half-hour lessons and one master class or recital each month. It is important to note that this is a fixed monthly charge and is not subject to proration.
Lesson Schedule
Participate in a dynamic 30-minute lessons each week, meticulously crafted to elevate your skills and ignite your passion. Sessions are offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays!
Master Classes
Master Classes are a fantastic way to learn from and with your studio mates. As the semester wraps up, prepare for the exhilarating Recital where you’ll confidently showcase your progress rather than engage in conventional lessons. It is inspiring to witness your own talents as well as others flourish!
